Layo & Bushwacka! are legendary pioneers of the UK electronic scene, blending techno, breaks, house, and deep minimal grooves into an unmistakable sound. Emerging from London’s underground in the 1990s, the duo — Layo Paskin and Matthew “Bushwacka!” Benjamin — rose to prominence through their residencies at The End nightclub and a series of genre-defining releases. Best known for tracks like Love Story (vs Finally) and Deep South, they’ve released acclaimed albums like Low Life and Night Works on imprints such as XL Recordings and their own label, Olmeto. Their productions balance raw club energy with intricate musicality, earning them a global following across dancefloors and festivals. After a hiatus, the duo have returned to the studio and the decks with fresh energy, continuing to evolve while honoring their deep roots in rave culture and underground house.
