About Las Migas

Las Migas is an acclaimed all-female Spanish flamenco fusion quartet, formed in Barcelona in 2004, renowned for blending traditional flamenco with a diverse array of contemporary styles including pop, Latin rhythms, jazz, tango, fado, country, and urban music. They are celebrated for their innovative approach to flamenco, expanding its boundaries while empowering women within the genre. The current lineup features Paula Ramírez on lead vocals, Marta Robles (the only original member and also a composer) on flamenco guitar and vocals, Alicia Grillo on flamenco guitar and vocals, and Laura Pacios on violin. Their latest endeavors include the release of their album "Flamencas" in May 2025, which pays homage to the essence of traditional flamenco with a contemporary and powerful vision, earning them a Latin Grammy Award for Best Flamenco Album in 2025. This follows their 2024 album "Rumberas," which explored rumba flamenca with influences from Spain, Cuba, and Mexico and received a Latin Grammy nomination. Las Migas also won a Latin Grammy in 2022 for their album "Libres". The group has been actively touring, including an extensive tour across the United States and Canada in 2024, and is currently on a world tour scheduled for 2025/2026 with dates in Spain, France, and the US.
