La T y La M is an Argentine cumbia duo formed in 2020 by Tobías Medrano and Matías Rapen, known for their vibrant blend of cumbia, cuarteto, RKT, and turreo genres. Their distinctive sound fuses traditional cumbia elements with contemporary production, creating energetic rhythms and catchy melodies. They rose to national prominence when the Argentine National Football Team adopted their cumbia rendition of "AM" for locker room celebrations, and their track "Pa' la Selección" became an unofficial anthem during the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Recently, on May 20, 2026, the duo released the EP "Tierra de Campeones," a tribute to the Argentine National Team and the spirit of football, featuring songs like "Argentino yo soy" and "Hoy juega la Argentina". Prior to this, they released the single "Bebé" in collaboration with Luck Ra on March 25, 2026. They also presented "Yo argentino" on October 10, 2025, a new version of "Pa´ la Selección" for an Argentina vs. Venezuela friendly match. La T y La M have also been active with recent performances, including concerts in New York on June 19, 2026, and Los Angeles on June 20, 2026.
