L'Arc-en-Ciel is a highly influential Japanese rock band, known for their distinct sound that blends visual kei aesthetics with j-rock, anime, and j-pop elements. Formed in Osaka in 1991, the band has achieved significant success, becoming one of Japan's best-selling music artists with over 40 million records sold. In recent endeavors, L'Arc-en-Ciel embarked on their "Arena Tour 2024 Underground," which ran from February to April 2024. A Blu-ray/DVD of this tour, directed by tetsuya and featuring rarely performed songs, is slated for release, with footage from the April 7 Saitama Super Arena concert. Additionally, their new single, "You Gotta Run," was announced in September 2024 as the intro for the second season of the anime Beyblade X, released digitally in October 2024 and physically in January 2025. The band also held "L'Arc-en-Ciel Live 2025 Hyde Birthday Celebration -Hyde 誕生祭-" concerts at Tokyo Dome on January 18 and 19, 2025, with hyde actively producing the event. Looking ahead, a "35th L'Anniversary TOUR" is anticipated for Autumn 2025. The band also announced merchandise for "SUMMER SONIC 2026" on June 29, 2026. Individual members have also been active, with HYDE undertaking his "HYDE [INSIDE] LIVE 2025 WORLD TOUR" and TETSUYA having his "TETSUYA Acoustic Live Tour 2026 at Billboard Live" and "Like-an-Angel "TOUR 2025-2026 'Crash to Rise'" scheduled.
