Kollektiv Turmstrasse is a German musical project known for its emotive and evolving take on minimal techno, which has expanded to incorporate elements of modern house, breakbeat, hip hop, indie-pop, and electronica. Originally formed as a duo in 1998 by Nico Plagemann and Christian Hilscher in Hamburg, the project became a solo endeavor for Nico Plagemann in 2023 following Hilscher's departure. Kollektiv Turmstrasse has released significant albums such as "Verrückte Welt" (2006) and "Rebellion der Träumer" (2010). In its latest endeavors, Kollektiv Turmstrasse released the album "Unity of Opposites" in 2023. The project is also recognized as an influential German live act in electronic music, performing at major festivals and clubs globally, with Nico Plagemann also leading the community-focused event series, YAP (You Are Perfect).
