Kid Bookie is an English rock singer and rapper from South East London, known for blending deathstep, trap metal, and rap metal with hip hop, alternative, and rock music. He is recognized for challenging preconceptions of Black culture in the UK and exploring themes of emotional entrapment, resilience, heartbreak, and self-reflection in his music. In early 2026, Kid Bookie released the powerful new single "Blame" featuring Corey Taylor of Slipknot, which serves as a preview for a forthcoming album expected later this year. This collaboration with Taylor marks nearly a decade of their creative partnership. Earlier in 2026, he also dropped the single "Rose McGowan," featuring the actress and activist Rose McGowan, a collaboration that started with a direct message in 2024 and showcases Bookie's talent for blending diverse styles. In 2025, he released "Get Out" featuring Griffin Taylor and announced "Cheaper Than Therapy 2," a continuation of his 2021 album, featuring guests like Rose McGowan and Lady Leshurr. Kid Bookie also announced the album 'Songs For The Living // Songs For The Dead' for release on September 13, 2024, via Marshall Records, which includes the track "Scars" and collaborations with Good Charlotte's Billy Martin and Skindred's Mikey Demus. His recent endeavors include supporting I Prevail on a European tour and performing at 2000trees and Takedown Festival in 2024. He has also been nominated for Best Breakthrough Live Artist at The Heavy Music Awards in 2024 and for the MOBO Best Alternative Music Act in both 2022 and 2024.
