KI/KI, real name Kiki Wesselo, is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer renowned for her energetic sets that blend hard house, acid techno, and trance, drawing heavily from 90s rave culture with a contemporary edge. She has rapidly become a significant voice in electronic music, known for her high-energy and emotional performances. In recent endeavors, KI/KI continues to expand her self-founded label, "slash," which focuses on releasing sounds at the intersection of trance and techno, featuring both emerging artists and classic re-issues. She recently released the track 'Getting Ready For The Party' with Storm Mollison, catapulting into 2025 following a successful 2024. This release showcases her evolving, high-energy signature style, fusing hard-hitting trance synths with hard house elements. Another notable recent release is "5 Mins Of Acid," which marked the tenth release on her 'slash' imprint and premiered with a new live show concept. She also released "Time to Party" on her sub-label 'club slash'. Her 2024 achievements included a debut DJ Mag cover and three headline performances at Amsterdam Dance Event, including an all-day event and a free-to-attend party. KI/KI maintains a busy international touring schedule, with upcoming concerts scheduled across Germany, Malta, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and appearances at festivals like Primavera Sound Barcelona in 2026. She has played at prominent venues and festivals worldwide, including Berghain, Dekmantel, Awakenings, and Lowlands.
