Kev Koko is a Berlin-based artist renowned for his genre-shifting approach to electronic music, seamlessly blending potent Berlin techno with pop melodies and songwriting. Formerly a member of the acclaimed techno trio FJAAK, he has since carved out a distinct solo path, exploring sounds that incorporate elements of electronic-pop, experimental electronic, trance, electro, indie, and synth-pop. Koko is also associated with the Berlin collective Live from Earth, which operates as both a fashion company and record label. His recent endeavors include the release of his debut album, "Playground," in 2024, which marked an unexpected shift towards late-2000s indie soundscapes. He has also continued to perform, with "Kev Koko presents PLAYGROUND" events scheduled for 2025 in cities like Hamburg and Berlin. Recent singles such as "Coming For You" (March 2022) showcase his ability to fuse indie, synth-pop, and electronica, while "Roof" (November 2021) demonstrated a blend of techno with trap. His debut solo single, "1st Of July," released in 2020, was described as a massive electronic pop anthem.
