Hailing from the serene beauty of Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, Keir Gibson is a 23 year old alt pop singer-songwriter and producer. With a blend of escapist alt pop and vivid lyricism, Keir’s music paints a relatable and heartfelt picture. His journey began in 2019 with the debut single ‘Eyes Wide’, a glimpse into his musical world. Following that, ‘Hollow’ caught the attention of BBC Radio 1 DJ’s Scott Mills and Molly King. The Scottish Sun hailed him as “Scotland’s next big breakthrough talent”, a nod to his rising influence. Keir’s musical career extended to live performances, including a memorable gig at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party, where he enchanted a crowd of 5,000. Keir has just released his debut EP ‘Weak Ties’ following the success of his raw and captivating single, ‘When Nobody's Left’, which earned a spot on Spotify's influential Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds Pop playlists. The EP as a whole further showcases his songwriting and production skills while also giving more of an insight into his soundscape as an artist. As 2024 unfolds, Keir is set to play a range of festivals and support slots with a view to releasing more new music further into the year.
