About Kaza

Kaza is the stage name of Anthony Kazadi, a French rapper from Val de Fontenay in Val-de-Marne. Before devoting his life to hip-hop, Kaza had a promising career in basketball but finally opted to pursue music as a full-time job. In 2019, he released a series of freestyles under the name HRTBRK, all of which went viral and managed to enter the French charts. This success led to a recording contract with the label Elektra France, who released his studio debut Heartbreak Life in 2020. Thanks to singles like “Combien,” “3-5-7,” and “Dans tes yeux,” the album broke into the French Top 10 and spawned a deluxe edition titled Heartbreak Life: Winter Edition. His sophomore effort Toxic (2021) did even better, peaking at Number 5 on the French Singles Chart. Some of the album’s most successful singles included “Certifié toxic,” “Bandida,” and “N26” with fellow rapper Maes, a vibrant trap-pop number that hit Number 91 on SNEP’s rankings.
