About KARABA

KARABA is a French-Congolese DJ and producer who has rapidly become a prominent figure in the afro-tech and afro house music scenes. Based in Los Angeles, her artistic journey began as a professional dancer, performing with major artists such as Drake, Camila Cabello, and Selena Gomez, before she transitioned to music production in 2016. Her sound is characterized by deep, hypnotic rhythms infused with global influences and rooted in her Congolese heritage. KARABA earned a Juno Award nomination for Underground Dance Single of the Year in 2024 for her breakout track "Mad Mess". She released her latest EP, "Tides," in 2025, a project that delves into a darker, more hypnotic side of afro house and explores her relationship with water. This EP includes recent singles such as "Siren," "Dark Waters," and "Sinking," all released in 2025. KARABA actively tours globally, performing across North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, and uses her platform to spotlight rising Afro artists. In 2025, she notably appeared at EDC Las Vegas on the UBUNTU stage, the festival's first dedicated to Afro House and African dance music.
