About the artist

Kaleita (pronounced kuh-LEE-tuh) is the instrumental project of Filippo Faustini, a London-based, Italian-born guitarist and composer. Known for his work as a rock guitarist with Dead Writers—headlining his first festival in 2024—Filippo has also gained recognition as a composer, reaching the finals of the 2025 Sync Awards with Digitale Purpurea, his second release as Kaleita. Born from a desire to redefine the electric guitar’s role in instrumental music, Kaleita explores the instrument through moveable capos, open tunings, and layered textures, blending classical, post-rock, ambient, film, and electronic influences. His debut single Through The Noise was praised by A&R Factory as “a controlled implosion of texture, timbre, and tonal grief.” In this solo performance, Kaleita presents pieces from his upcoming debut EP “Songs to a world on edge” (2026) — unfolding like a kaleidoscope of sound, where composed works and live ambient loops merge into immersive, evolving soundscapes that blur the line between structure and atmosphere.
