Julya Karma is a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer, now also rooted in Berlin, who has rapidly become a prominent figure in the house and techno scene, particularly known for her melodic techno and melodic house sound. Her music is characterized by uplifting melodies and dark, hypnotic grooves, offering a journey that is both outward and introspective. Her diverse musical foundation stems from classical piano training, coupled with early exposure to indie and psychedelic rock, traditional Middle Eastern music, and jazz, all of which influence her dynamic DJ sets and productions. Julya Karma's endeavors include performing at renowned global venues and festivals such as The Brooklyn Mirage, Time Warp, Afterlife, Cercle, Mayan Warrior, Coachella, DGTL, Audio Obscura, Lost Village, and Innervisions, often sharing stages with artists like Rüfüs du Sol, Adriatique, Dixon, and Âme. Her latest single, "One You Want," was released on March 7, 2025, and she also has recent releases like "Hypnotized" (2023) on Rüfüs du Sol's Rose Avenue and "Eye of the Storm" (2023) on Radikon. She has also released DJ mixes such as "Innervisions (DJ Mix)" and "Julya Karma b2b Notre Dame at Cercle Festival 2024 (DJ Mix)" in 2024. Julya Karma has an extensive tour schedule planned for July and August 2026, with upcoming performances at major events like Awakenings Festival in Hilvarenbeek, Innervisions events in New York, London, and Mykonos, and Lost Village festival, alongside club dates in cities such as Zurich, Miami, Maspeth, and Barcelona.
