Joshua Epithet is a 21-year-old Manchester-based alt-indie artist and producer known for his genre-spanning sound that blends elements of alt-pop, bedroom pop, Britpop, and hip-hop, drawing influences from both UK acts like Blur and The Streets, and US artists such as Childish Gambino and Tyler, The Creator. His music often features melancholic vocals, lush production, and punchy melodies. His debut album, 'Boys And Their Video Cameras,' was released on May 31st, 2024. This concept album explores themes of parasocial relationships, child stardom, and identity through the fictional character Casey Ryan, and is accompanied by a "film" and visuals. Leading up to the album, he released singles such as 'So, This Is Living' in March 2024 and 'She Writes Fanfiction' in early 2023. More recently, he released the track 'Effigy' in May 2026.
