Jonny Taylor is a singer/songwriter from Liverpool, Merseyside. He is a well known face on the music scene in the city. Collaborating with some of Liverpool’s most loved music legends such as Brian Nash of ‘Frankie Goes To Hollywood’, Edgar Jones of The Stairs, Barry Sutton of The La’s as well as The Real People. Following a sold out show at Phase One and supporting Cast legend John Power at another sold out show in St. Michaels Church, Jonny is set to release his third single ‘Flavia’ on 25th August 2023. The track is a slight shift in style compared to his two previous releases ‘Walk Along The River’ and ‘In The Sky’, but his infectious melodies and retro sound still remains a vocal point in his songwriting. ‘Flavia’ is a whimsical ode to a woman who makes the best kind of lasagne. Featuring Liverpool legend Edgar Jones on bass, who has working with the likes of Paul Weller and Johnny Mar, adds a bouncing rhythm that drives the track throughout. ‘Flavia’ is the first release that Jonny has written, recorded and mixed himself, with a little help from his friends.
