Joliette is a Mexican post-hardcore band formed in 2011, currently based in Mexico City, known for their dynamic sound that blends screamo, post-hardcore, and mathcore with shifts between heavy, chaotic passages and melodic segments. The band operates with a strong "Earn It Yourself" (DIY) philosophy, emphasizing direct interaction with their audience and focusing on the music itself. The band recently released their new album, *Pérdidas Variables*, on June 20, 2025, via Persistent Vision Records. This album is described as a meditation on Mexico City, exploring it as both a physical and psychological space, with lyrics rooted in fears of earthquakes, collapse, and the quiet disconnection of urban life. Singles from the album include "Nimbus," which captures the introspective beauty of a rainy city night, and "Limítrofe," exploring the feeling of living on the edge. Joliette also embarked on a Europe/UK tour in April and May 2025. In 2023, the band was featured on the compilation *Balladeers, Redefined*.
