Jamie Duffy is an Irish musician, composer, and songwriter, born in 2001, known for his distinctive blend of neoclassical, traditional Irish, and popular music elements, predominantly featuring piano, tin whistle, voice, and orchestration. His debut single, "Solas," released in 2022, became the most streamed debut song by an Irish artist since Hozier's "Take Me to Church," achieving over 100 million streams on Spotify and gaining significant viral traction on TikTok. Duffy has collaborated with various artists, including Sarah Cothran on a vocal version of "Solas," and has partnered with Icelandic composer Atli Örvarsson. His latest endeavors include the release of his self-titled debut album, "Jamie Duffy," on October 10, 2025, preceded by singles such as "Against The Atlantic" (September 2025) and "Rising" (August 2025). He also released the EP "For The Moon" in February 2025. In 2024, Duffy supported Andrea Bocelli at BST Hyde Park in London and completed a sold-out debut Irish and European tour, which extended into 2025. He also sold out the main room of the National Concert Hall in Dublin on St Patrick's Day 2025, making him one of the youngest artists to headline the venue. Currently, he is also involved in scoring projects for film and TV.
