About the artist

Irini Arabatzi is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer, and performer originally from Thessaloniki, Greece, who spent her formative years in Brussels and is now based in London. Her music blends jazz with folk traditions from Latin America and Greece, creating a modern soundscape influenced by artists like Nai Palm, Erykah Badu, and Joni Mitchell. Fluent in Greek, French, English, and Spanish, Irini's multicultural background deeply informs her emotive songwriting. She has a rich background in jazz, holding a degree from Guildhall School of Music. Her recent EP "Songs for them," released in June 2024, showcases her unique sound, blending haunting melodies with vibrant beats. Recent endeavors include headlining at SJQ in Dalston on March 27, 2025, and a live performance and chat on Soho Radio London on March 4, 2025. She was also featured at the Athens Epidaurus Festival in July 2024 with the Yoel Soto Group.
