About the artist

Irama, born Filippo Maria Fanti on December 20, 1995, is an Italian singer-songwriter and rapper. He gained prominence after winning the 17th edition of the talent show *Amici di Maria De Filippi* in 2018. Irama competed in the Sanremo Music Festival multiple times, including in 2016, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025. He is known for hits like "Nera", "Mediterranea", and "La genesi del tuo colore". Recently, there have been reports of a possible romance between Irama and Mew, a former contestant on *Amici*, after they were allegedly spotted together in Puglia. This has led to some social media buzz, including Mew's ex-boyfriend, Matthew, unfollowing Irama on Instagram. In February 2025, Irama participated in the Sanremo Festival with the song "Lentamente". He is scheduled to perform at Milan's San Siro Stadium in June 2026 to celebrate his decade-long career.
