Il Divo is a multinational classical crossover vocal group, originally formed in the United Kingdom in 2003 by Simon Cowell. The quartet is known for blending operatic vocals with popular music, singing in multiple languages including Spanish, Italian, and French. The original lineup featured Urs Bühler (Switzerland), David Miller (USA), Sébastien Izambard (France), and Carlos Marín (Spain). Sadly, Carlos Marín passed away in December 2021 due to COVID-19. The group has continued with Steven LaBrie officially joining as a permanent member in 2023, after performing as a guest. Il Divo has achieved significant global success, selling over 30 million albums worldwide, with 50 #1 hits and 160 Gold and Platinum records in 35 countries. Their latest album, "XX," was released in 2024, marking their 20th anniversary. Il Divo is currently on their 20th Anniversary Album world tour, which is scheduled to run until March 29, 2026. They are also planning an "Il Divo by Candlelight" tour in the U.S. in 2026.
