About the artist

HONESTY is a Leeds-based collective, not a band in the traditional sense, with four core members: George Mitchell, Matt Peel, Josh Lewis, and Imi Marston. They also have a rotating cast of collaborators, including musicians and visual artists. The collective emerged as an exercise in doing things differently on a journey towards self-acceptance. Their music is a fluid, exhilarating, and uniquely introspective take on club music, sonically mapping the psychological impact of the modern age and harnessing the vitality and freedom that comes with new beginnings. In March 2024, HONESTY announced a new mixtape called 'BOX,' which was released on April 25th via Partisan Records. 'BOX' is described as a 40-minute continuous mix of instrumentals, remixes, and new material. In September 2024, they announced their debut album 'U R HERE,' which was released on February 7th.
