Essex duo Jake Hicks and Jack Pike (Hillsdom) run an influential UK D&B operation. They founded their sound on live drums and guitar. They released 'Second Nature' on a UKF compilation, tunes on Viper (like 'Nocturne'), and singles on the Ram Records ecosystem's Program label. Their tracks get spun by the biggest names, including Andy C, Friction, Metrik, Hybrid Minds, , Fred V, BCee, Sleepnet, Matrix & Futurebound , T.R.A.C., Random Movement Noisia's Vision Radio. With recent successful releases on Soulvent Records, Hillsdom defines the nexus where liquid soul meets rollers muscle.
