Hang Massive is a world music and ambient music duo comprised of Danny Cudd and Markus Offbeat, recognized for their pioneering work with the Hang, also known as the handpan. Since 2011, they have significantly influenced the global handpan music scene, developing a unique sound that blends dream-like acoustic melodies with upbeat electronic elements, inspiring a worldwide audience. Their musical journey began after meeting in Goa, India, evolving from street performances to headlining festivals and high-profile venues across the globe. The duo's music is often characterized as meditative and is also influenced by various electronic music genres, including psychedelic trance and techno, reflecting their dedicated Dzogchen practice. For their latest endeavors, Hang Massive is launching a new immersive album and live show in 2024, which aims to explore the transformative power of sound and music as a form of medicine. They are actively touring in 2024, with tickets currently on sale, and their new album is available for pre-order. Recently, they released a live video of a remixed version of their well-known track, "The Secret Kissing Sun and Moon," performed during their "Wisdom in the Roots Tour" in Autumn 2024. Additionally, Hang Massive collaborates with instrument maker Yishama for their new music and live shows and offers an online handpan masterclass.
