About the artist

Hanakiv, the musical alter-ego of Estonian composer and pianist Johanna Kivimägi, creates meditative piano-based ambient music, blending elements of classical and electronic styles. Now based in London, her work is deeply influenced by her Estonian cultural heritage and a love for nature, alongside artists like Tim Hecker, Björk, and Aphex Twin. Her debut album, "Goodbyes," released in March 2023 on Gondwana Records, explores themes of healing and letting go. Hanakiv continues to perform, with upcoming engagements including the Tri 4 Play Concert on September 27, 2025, and a performance at SETÚBAL OPERA STUDIO on September 6, 2025.
