Hamburger is a six-piece indie-pop band formed in Bristol, UK, in 2018. Their sound blends elements of indie-pop with notes of shoegaze and emo, often featuring a lo-fi aesthetic and dreamy, elongated melodies. The band released their debut EP, "Teenage Terrified," in late 2020, which has been described as personal and reflective, exploring raw emotions through a "vaguely farcical lens". Their songs touch on themes of sad aliens, sad humans, and drugs, incorporating soft, slightly nasally lead vocals with backing harmonies. Hamburger's latest endeavor is their new EP, "Beat Back the Ghouls," which is available now.
