Gzuz, whose real name is Kristoffer Jonas Klauß, is a prominent German hip hop artist born on June 29, 1988, in Hamburg. Known for his hard street rap style, which often incorporates bass-heavy trap and drill beats, Gzuz is a core member of the influential Hamburg hip-hop collective 187 Strassenbande, which he joined in 2006. His stage name is an acronym for "Ghetto-Zeug unzensiert," reflecting his raw, unapologetic, and unfiltered lyrical approach. Gzuz's music is characterized by a commanding voice and vivid depictions of urban life, exploring themes of hardship, resilience, loyalty, and survival in gritty environments. He has achieved significant chart success with solo albums like "Ebbe & Flut" (2015), "Wolke 7" (2018), and "Feuer" (2020), as well as collaborative projects with Bonez MC such as "High & Hungrig" (2014) and "High & Hungrig 2" (2016).
