Gusttavo Lima is a prominent Brazilian singer known for his work in sertanejo, sertanejo universitário, arrocha, agronejo, piseiro, and forró genres. Often referred to as "O Embaixador," he gained significant international recognition with his hit "Balada (Tchê Tcherere Tchê Tchê)" in 2011, which became a football anthem across Brazil and Europe. His discography includes numerous live albums, showcasing his dynamic stage presence and consistent output of popular songs. In recent endeavors, Lima released the full edition of his album "Feito à mão" in March 2026, which includes eight new tracks such as "Assunto que dói," "Transa pendente," and "Soy yo". A judge in Pernambuco state ordered his preventive arrest, but this order was later suspended by another judge via a writ of habeas corpus. Lima's legal team stated that the decision for his arrest was unjust and baseless.
