Buy tickets for Gurriers concerts: post-punk
Gurriers is a high-energy Irish quintet delivering a potent blend of post-punk, noise rock, and shoegaze, known for their cathartic rage and dynamic live performances. Formed in Dublin in January 2020, the band comprises Dan Hoff (vocals), Emmet White, Ben O'Neill, Mark MacCormack (guitars), and Pierce Callaghan (drums). Their debut album, "Come and See," released in September, explores contemporary themes of disenfranchisement, the rise of the far-right, and social media's impact. Gurriers recently released their new single "Erasure," an incendiary piece of call-and-response rock, accompanied by a "Black Mirror-esque" video. This track marks their first new music since their critically acclaimed debut album. The band has an extensive touring schedule, including sold-out shows across the UK, a December run in Ireland, and a tour of mainland Europe. They also served as the main support for Kneecap's headline show at Wembley Arena in September. Looking ahead, Gurriers will embark on their first full North American tour in March 2026, building on their buzz from SXSW earlier this year. Their music has garnered praise from the likes of Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 6 Music and has been described as "raw as a butcher's cut, and just as fresh" by The Irish Times.
