Giolì & Assia are an Italian female electro duo, comprised of Giolì, who plays piano, cello, drums, guitar, and handpan, and Assia, who handles vocals and guitar. Formed in 2016, they are known for their unique blend of melodic techno, infused with elements of house, indie, and pop, creating a sound that marries analogue and electronic components. Their music often features multilingual vocals in English, Italian, French, and Spanish, and is characterized by powerful melodies and an emotional atmosphere. The duo manages their own record label, Diesis Records, and are recognized for their visually striking #DiesisLive streaming performances filmed in breathtaking locations, including volcanoes and historical sites across Sicily. Their latest endeavors include the recent release of their genre-bending EP, "RESURRECTION (ACT I)," via Diesis Records, which features the single "God Don't Leave Me Alone." This EP signals a new chapter, incorporating a fusion of light and shadow, classical elegance, and contemporary urgency, with some rock-infused elements. In support of the EP, Giolì & Assia have also announced their "RESURRECTION World Tour." Beyond music, they are recognized in the fashion world, attending international Fashion Weeks and collaborating with luxury brands.
