About General Levy

General Levy, born Paul Scott Levy, is a veteran British reggae MC renowned for his dynamic contributions to the jungle, ragga, drum and bass, and UK garage scenes. He is celebrated for his distinctive vocal style and rapid-fire lyrical delivery, often blending Jamaican sound system traditions with UK rave innovation. His career gained significant traction with the iconic 1994 track "Incredible," a collaboration with M-Beat, which reached number 8 on the UK Singles Chart and was featured in the film "Ali G Indahouse" and a Honda advertising campaign. As of 2024, General Levy continues to be an active and influential artist, consistently releasing new music and performing globally. His new album, "Jah Jah Guide and Protect," was set for release in November 2025, featuring revitalized versions of classic tracks and new material, including the single "Professional Ganja Smoker". He maintains an extensive touring schedule throughout 2026, with numerous concert and festival appearances across the UK and Europe. These include confirmed dates at Pure Garage Birmingham (April 2026), DEPOT Cardiff (May 2026), In It Together (May 2026), Elvaston Castle Country Park (May 2026), Brixton Jamm (May 2026), Lab 11 (June 2026), Boardmasters Festival (August 2026), and Reggae Land (July 2026). He also continues to work on new projects for release through his record label, Levy UK.
