Funk Assault is a Swiss-Italian duo comprised of Alarico Zucchi (Alarico) and Charles Accarisi (Chlär), based in Berlin, known for their raw and classic techno sounds, characterized by pulsating beats, unrestrained rhythms, and a distinctive blend of synths and drum loops. They debuted their project in June 2022 and made an electrifying debut on HÖR Berlin in February 2023. In June 2023, they released their debut project, 'Minimum One Post A Week,' featuring five tracks. In their latest endeavors, Funk Assault is set for a highly anticipated Irish debut at Fuinneamh Festival, announced on March 20, 2024, where they join a lineup of international heavyweights. They have an upcoming EP titled "Soft Power - EP" scheduled for release on September 5, 2025, which includes tracks like "Like Me, Watch Me". In 2024, they released an RA Podcast, RA.960 Funk Assault. The duo has also engaged in discussions about the evolving techno scene, including the impact of "TikTok Techno" and the revival of 90s techno, as featured in a March 2025 interview with Playful Magazine. Their upcoming performances in 2025 include appearances at events such as the Primal Instinct NYE 30H Party, DALMA Festival, and sets at renowned venues like Fabrik and fabric.
