Frou Frou

About the artist

A collaboration between vocalist Imogen Heap and producer/songwriter Guy Sigsworth, Frou Frou manufactured an impressive brand of vocal-driven electronic pop formerly the exclusive territory of Björk. Sigsworth had in fact worked with Björk, among many other significant '90s pop and electronic artists, and first worked with Heap on "Getting Scared" from her 1998 solo debut, I Megaphone. After completing the promotion for that splendid debut, Heap was ready to begin work on a new project and the two hooked up under the name Frou Frou, releasing Details on MCA Records in 2002. ~ Vincent Jeffries
