About FreddyK

FreddyK is a singer/songwriter born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, who grew up in Chicago. He began his musical journey in reggaeton before gaining recognition in the tropical scene for his bachata compositions, earning him the title of "Chicago's Bachata King". His debut bachata single "A Primera Vista" in 2014 charted on Billboard's Tropical Airplay. In recent endeavors, FreddyK transitioned into the Salsa genre in 2018 after performing as an opening act for Latin Grammy-winning Salsa legend, La India. He has since collaborated with Isidro Infante, Richard Marcell, and Salsa legend Nino Segarra for his first Salsa album, titled *Sabor y Candela*.
