Fran Lusty is a London-based indie-folk singer-songwriter with Norwegian roots, known for her "dreamful" and "truly transformative" music that often incorporates soul-stirring, nature-inspired, and deeply personal storytelling. Her sound has been described as vulnerable and melancholic, drawing comparisons to artists like Damien Rice and KT Tunstall. Lusty often intertwines her music with her academic pursuits, balancing a PhD in English Literature, which informs her thoughtful and poetic songwriting. In recent endeavors, Fran Lusty released her third EP, "Big Old House," in 2025, featuring tracks like "Praying Mantis" and "Only In My Dreams," which were developed in her grandmother's cabin in rural Norway and explore themes of isolation. Her second EP, "6 Foot and Growing," released in 2024, delves into life as a young adult in London and includes the track "Wildflowers." Over the last 18 months, Lusty has sold out multiple headline shows in London and Brighton, embarked on two European tours, and performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Cambridge Folk Festival, and Latitude.
