Fanchon is a London-based "Dream Grunge" band known for their powerful post-grunge dream-core sound. Their music blends alternative rock, dream pop, and grunge, featuring melodic, "feminine" vocals layered over heavy, energetic instrumentals. Fanchon draws influences from artists such as Deftones, Lana Del Rey, and Alice In Chains, and their lyrics are often poetry-based, characterized by a "power in softness" vocal style. In their recent endeavors, Fanchon performed at the Hope & Anchor in Islington on May 18, 2025, and their releases, including "Crawling Here" and "Grow," have been making waves in the London music scene. The band has also previously released music such as "rsm SMiLE" and continues to write new material and expand their live presence.
