f5ve is a Japanese girl group, formed in 2022, composed of Sayaka, Kaede, Ruri, Miyuu, and Rui, known for blending J-pop with hyperpop and electronic sounds. Formerly known as SG5, the quintet rebranded in April 2024 as "inter-dimensional dream agents from Tokyo" on a mission to combat self-doubt and negativity. Their debut studio album, *SEQUENCE 01*, executive-produced by Grammy winner BloodPop, was released on May 5, 2025, featuring tracks like "Lettuce," which went viral on TikTok, "Underground," and "UFO." The group aims to bring J-pop to a global audience while showcasing Japanese culture and challenging stereotypes. In July 2025, a cryptic tweet from the group, thanking fans for their support, sparked concern among followers about potential struggles or disbandment. They also released an *Underground REMIXS EP* in September 2024 and have upcoming singles in late 2025.
