About Eunike Tanzil

Eunike Tanzil is an Indonesian composer, pianist, and music producer based in Los Angeles, California, known for her lyrical melodic lines and emotive harmonic progressions that weave through classical, film score, contemporary, and orchestral genres, with influences of jazz and world music. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and The Juilliard School, both on full scholarships, she has contributed her musical expertise to film projects such as "Asian Persuasion" (2023), "Be Somebody" (2021), "The Addams Family 2" (2021), and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" (2022). Tanzil has collaborated with a diverse array of artists including Laufey, TwoSet Violin, Anna Lapwood, and Ray Chen, and gained significant recognition for her "Hum Me a Melody" social media series, where she transforms street-hummed motifs into symphonic arrangements. In recent endeavors, Eunike Tanzil signed an exclusive agreement with Deutsche Grammophon on April 26, 2024, and subsequently released her first double digital single, "Luna". She is set to release her debut album, "The First of Everything," with Deutsche Grammophon in 2025, recorded live with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin. Additionally, she announced an upcoming Christmas EP titled "See You Again" for release on October 24 (2025). Her orchestral work, "Ode to the City of Dreams," is slated to premiere with the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl in 2025, and she is currently part of the NBCUniversal Composers Initiative (2024–2026).
