Essii is a British-Zambian UK R&B artist born on March 28, 2002, in England. She rose to prominence after posting song covers online in 2020, which led to her being discovered by a talent manager in America, and she now has management teams in both London and Los Angeles. Her collaboration with Coi Leray on the song "Brown Eyes" garnered over a million views on YouTube. In her endeavors, Essii's song "Let U Go" was played on BBC Radio 1 in June 2024. She performed live at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas, in March 2025, where her recent EP, "Orbit," was highlighted. In July 2023, she released the single "Who U Lovin'," described as a "toxic anthem" with noughties R&B influences, which followed her single "Villains".
