Esme Emerson is a British-Chinese sibling duo, consisting of Esme Lee-Scott and Emerson Lee-Scott, known for their sincere and honest take on indie pop, indie folk, and pop rock. Emerson handles production, while Esme crafts the lyrics and also oil paints the duo's distinctive album art. Hailing from Ipswich, Suffolk, the duo has garnered attention for their "shared musical brain" and a sound that blends gentle melodies with electronic elements, often exploring themes of belonging, nostalgia, imperfection, and vulnerability. Their recent endeavors include signing with Communion Records. Esme Emerson released their EP "Big Leap, No Faith, Small Chancer" in 2024 and followed up with their sophomore EP, "Applesauce," on March 7, 2025. They have also released singles such as "Please" and "Together," and "Afraid of Losing". The duo has expanded their fanbase by touring with acts like Keane and The Japanese House and is planning a short UK headline run.
