Erotic Secrets of Pompeii is an art rock band from Bristol, United Kingdom, known for winding transgressive post-punk and experimental art rock together. Their sound is described as weird, angular, surrealist, and catchy, but essentially "rock". The band's lyrics are impressionistic, charged with grotesque imagery and vivid symbolism, drawing from artists across different mediums. In January 2024, the band was gearing up for the release of their debut album "Mondo Maleficum" and planned to tour in March and May, with intentions to return to the studio in April to work on a follow-up album.
