El Rodri emerged in the Argentine cumbia scene in 2020 with a series of medleys including “Como Llora / Ahora Que Te Vas / Regálame Una Noche” and “Siento / Hawái / Como Se Siente,” which showcased his early signature blend of emotive vocal delivery and rhythmic melodic lines. In 2021, he continued gaining recognition with the acoustic medley “Timidez / A Mi Lado (Acústico)” and other standalone tracks, followed in 2022 by the popular "Entre Nosotros / Una Noche En Medellín / Cosas Malas" single that amplified his presence across streaming platforms. The momentum carried into 2024 with the release of the single “Ayer / Quiere Beber / OA” on June 13, 2024, and the live En Vivo Luna Park EP, both under MOJO Latam. In March 2025, he dropped the single “Cosas Pendientes,” reflecting his continued output of reflective lyrics and catchy cumbia arrangements.
