About the artist

Drexi is a Guadeloupean artist born in Pointe-à-Pitre, renowned for his ability to fuse rap, trap, gwo-ka and bouyon. He made a name for himself in 2015 with"Sms", a hard-hitting revisit of France Gall's"Si maman si", in collaboration with Warped, which surpassed 7 million views on online video platforms. Following the success of his second album Troisième Dimensionin 2022, Drexi confirmed his status as a pillar of the West Indian urban scene in 2024 with the November 1 release of his album An Zyé a Hugo. With his unique style and his attachment to his community, he proudly represents Guadeloupean culture on the French-language music scene, collaborating with other artists from this milieu such as Admiral-T and YSN.
