Dreamcoaster is the musical adventure of Brighton duo Andrew and Jane Craig, blending warm melodies and driving guitars into a shimmering, dreamy indiepop sound. Formed in 2018 under the name Dreams of Empire, they self-released a run of monthly home-recorded singles that became their debut album Nothing's Ever Finished (Remastered Special Edition) (2019) on their own Duck Race Recording Co label. Before Dreamcoaster, the duo played in 90s art-pop band Luminous, whose album Concentrate was produced by Kramer (Galaxie 500, Shimmy Disc). Their music has since caught the ears of blogs, podcasts and radio, from BBC 6 Music to US college radio. After an in-store debut at HMV Brighton in 2020, lockdown led to the creation of their second LP Encapsulation. Live shows returned in 2022 with a release on Spinout Nuggets, followed by the Say Nothing EP (2023) and the fan-favourite single Don’t Lie To Me. After various line-ups Dreamcoaster now perform live as a duo with notable shows in Berlin with Jetstream Pony and Brighton where they've supported Cud and The Popguns amongst others. 2025 marks a new chapter with the release of their latest album Imaginary Reflections , led by the jangly opening single Catch Me When I Fall, showcasing a richer, more expansive Dreamcoaster sound. “Fuzzy indie pop perfection” – Add To Wantlist “Guitar pop bliss” – When You Motor Away
