Dolores Forever is a London-based indie-pop duo composed of Hannah Wilson from Yorkshire and Julia Fabrin from Copenhagen, who met at a house party and bonded over shared musical influences like Mitski, Sharon Van Etten, Stevie Nicks, and the Spice Girls. Their sound is characterized by a sleek blend of indie, pop, and electro-pop, featuring dreamy melodies and infectious hooks, often drawing comparisons to artists such as Haim and Fleetwood Mac. The duo is known for crafting anthemic yet emotionally charged songs that explore themes of feminism, friendship, and navigating a complex world. In their latest endeavors, Dolores Forever released their debut album, "It's Nothing," in September 2024. This followed the release of singles such as "Concrete" and "Not Now Kids," the latter of which also received a tongue-in-cheek music video. The album has been described as a "punchy indie-pop record" and has garnered positive reviews. Following the album's release, Dolores Forever embarked on a UK tour in November 2024, including a show at London's Village Underground, and held an in-store performance and signing at Rough Trade East. They have also been recognized by Rolling Stone UK as "ones to watch" and have seen their music gain international airplay and chart recognition. An upcoming single, "Dreams," is listed for release in 2025.
