About the artist

DLR is a Bristol based DJ / producer, founder of record label Sofa Sound Bristol and member of The Sauce and Onemind. DLR (short for Dirty le Roi) continues as he started – creating, experimenting and developing his sound. The back catalogue is proof, with releases on 1985 Music, CIA Records, Dispatch, Metalheadz, 31 Recordings, Utopia and Symmetry, plus quality remixes, for artists like Noisia, Camo & Krooked, Hybrid Minds, Future Cut and more. Sofa Sound Bristol is his main home today; started in 2017, it has built a loyal following, releasing collabs with Break, Randall, Script and new names like Molecular, Ill Truth, M-zine. Much loved for its distinctive music, artwork and events, the label won Drum&BassArena’s ‘Best Newcomer Label’ award in 2020. New music coming very soon...
