About the artist

DJ Sem is a French producer and beatmaker of Algerian origin. He organizes parties that blend electronic and oriental sounds, and hosts a show on Radio Beur. He produced a series of mixtapes and, in 2015, released Le Venim Musical, a debut album that caught the attention of fans of Raï'n'B, the fusion of electro, raï and rap, notably thanks to the track "Ghir Kimana" sung by Bilel Sghir. In 2016, he once again called on French rappers such as Lacrim, Sultan, Mister You, Tunisiano, Volts Face and Mokobé, as well as North African singers such as Cheb Maria and Cheb Reda, to produce a follow-up soberly entitled Le Venim Musical 2016.
