Dixon, born Steffen Berkhahn, is a German house and techno DJ, producer, and the founder of the Berlin-based record label Innervisions. He is renowned for his visionary approach to electronic music, often incorporating vocals, drama, and grand emotions into his sets, a style credited with reshaping the sound of Berlin's dance music scene. Dixon has achieved significant recognition, including being voted the number one DJ in Resident Advisor's Top 100 DJ Poll for four consecutive years from 2013 to 2016. Beyond his acclaimed DJing and production, Dixon has expanded his endeavors into fashion and technology. He is the joint owner of the club-wear clothing brand Together We Dance Alone. In 2019, he launched Transmoderna, an Ibiza residency and digital platform that explores the intersections of music, art, fashion, technology, and club culture, with a focus on crossovers between real and virtual experiences. This platform has incorporated elements like augmented reality and immersive mixed reality streams. He has also been involved in creating soundtracks for Givenchy runway shows and was a muse for Virgil Abloh's first season of Louis Vuitton Men's.
