Die Spitz is an all-female punk quartet from Austin, Texas, known for their raw, energetic, and often politically charged sound that blends classic punk, hardcore, metal, alt-rock, grunge, doom, and shoegaze. Comprising Ava Schrobilgen, Chloe De St. Aubin, Ellie Livingston, and Kate Halter, the band is celebrated for their riotous live performances where members often swap instruments and vocal duties. Their latest endeavor is the release of their formal debut LP, "Something to Consume," which dropped on September 12, 2025, via Third Man Records. The album, produced by Will Yip, explores themes of consumption, existentialism, despair, and empowerment. Die Spitz has also been on a fall North American tour throughout 2025, including stops in Canada, following earlier dates in the UK and Europe. Previously, they released the EPs "The Revenge of Evangeline" (2022) and "Teeth" (2023), with "Teeth" earning Album of the Year at the Austin Music Awards in 2024.
