Destiny is a singer, songwriter born in Alabama. Hooks released her first single called “Love Me Back”(2020) with Seth Teph. In 2021, she released her EP titled “Awakened.” She released “Coffee Shop” (2022) that showcases her ability to adventure out of her pop comfort zone and into Pop/RnB vibes. 2023 was full of many releases with “Back To Me” that displays emotional lyrics of losing someone. In 2024, her most popular song was "Beginning" amassing over 45,000 streams and landing on multiple playlists. As she continues to release music in 2025, she thrives to stay true to herself and grow as an artist. Growing up, Destiny was musically influenced by her Dad. "He was a huge fan of Elvis Presley, and introduced me to genres of pop, blues, and gospel. He took me to concerts, and one was of a guy impersonating Elvis. I went on stage with him, and he gave me a teddy bear while we were singing “(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear.” When I was on stage, something inside of me clicked. I loved singing on stage, and seeing people having a good time. I realized I enjoyed entertaining people and wanted to pursue a career in music,” Destiny states. Destiny Hooks started playing the piano and guitar at a young age. In high school, she was in talent shows where she performed songs in front of large audiences. She graduated at Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Songwriting and a minor in Psychology.
