Dani Toi is an alternative pop / neo-funk singer & songwriter based in London. He was raised in Portugal within a multicultural setting which broadened his musical influences from a young age. His first three singles released during the summer of 2023. These alternative pop tracks about the emotions and intricacies of relationships. Two of the songs, "Lying By Your Side" & "Bad Things", have a slower / sensual tone to them whilst his debut single "Hypnotised" has elements of disco & funk which Dani Toi wishes to further explore in his two next singles. He has recently released "Falling In Love", a Neo-Funk track that explores themes of love, physical attraction and the confusion one can often have in distinguishing both. He has drawn inspiration from bands such as Jungle & Parcels, with phased-funk guitars; sharp & snappy drums and a choir-like backing vocal all throughout the chorus. The single will be released on the 29th of February with a music video following shortly after.
